Learning how to measure the success of your construction company can be challenging. Financial statements, cash flow and forecasting, work in progress, payroll and labor-related expenses, all elements to construction accounting that make it difficult to pinpoint profit and predict positive outcomes. To help meet these challenges, construction financial managers utilize ratios as key performance indicators to measure how a company can stay on track for operational efficiency and profitability.

After completing this session, you will be able to:
 

• Learn the difference between the various ratios and when best to use them to determine certain outcomes.
• Use ratios as a tool to benchmark your company to see where you stack up in the industry.
• Demonstrate key performance indicators of analyzing and monitoring financial progress.

Level & Prerequisites
This is an Intermediate course, no pre-requisites are required, but attendees should have a least three years of accounting experience and have a basic understanding of ratios.
